In a crazy country.

So many things I see, I feel, I miss. But still, the time with Tomás and Naara (the son and the daughter of my sister) makes me forget a bit about everything that´s happened.

I spent the whole week in Santágueda, in a house called VillaCarolina. Lovely there, and from Sunday till Tuesday Susana came to stay with us. Susana is a very very good friend... We were always together when I lived in Colombia. Then, lots of miles and the ocean were between us... She was my best friend, and this time with her I was glad to notice that our friendship is still a lovely one. We opened our hearts for eachother, and though I hadn´t seen her in 7 years, it felt good. Thanks God! =)

Since I wrote here on Wednesday, I had to be the babysitter of my own sister. xD On Thursday, they just left their children with us, so they could have a day of their own. And it was lots of fun, but also exhausting. Little kids, who never stop.. Untill they sleep. It´s so sweet to feel Naara´s arms around me in the water, as if telling me "don´t let me go!". At least SOMEONE makes me feel that way ¬¬.

Then, on Friday, I did something very very crazy. I asked papa, just like a joke, if he came with me up to the mountain! And he said "If you want to, I think I can go with you!" Ah, dear papa... We went. We did! And it was very very funny. My legs don´t think so, though. It was almost like a rainforest, with lots of "lovely" little animals! xD But we did it. Oh, by the way, I gotta wash my shoes.. There were also cows. And things that are always near the cows. You let your imagination fly. Ehh, and then... Afternoon, we played "tejos". It´s something you shouldn´t play when you´re a Christian because most of the people who play it drink a lot and waste the money for food for the children... But we did it by daylight, and without drinking. Though Sergio, my little brother, looked like he was drunk. The game is very simple, you just throw things that are like little stones, but very heavy, and you try to hit a metal ring with explosives next to it. Very very funny xD.

And our holidays in Santágueda, VillaCarolina, are over. We took the plane this morning to come back to Bogotá, so now I´m not going back to Manizales, my place, for now. Maybe I´ll come to live here... I´d like to. I pray God He´ll show me what to do...

Today, after the plane landed in Bogotá, we took a taxi to my uncle´s place. And the driver was so busy with his BlackBerry, that I was afraid he wasn´t really paying attention. But... We are safe at home now. =)

Tomorrow, we´re going to visit my father´s family. They´re even going to Church! Ah, and one of my favourite uncles (they called me "Manolita" because my eyes and his are alike), el tío Manolo, took the important decision of the baptism. I loved to hear it, because we didn´t know he was going to Church! And next week I think we´ll go to Ibagué. So that´s it for now!

Take care and keep following!
